Description

A metallurgical facility for manganese ferroalloys production will be built in Krasnoyarsk in areas of former Krastyazhmash Works. This is a component of the investment project implemented in territory of three Russian Federation subjects. It stipulates development of Usinskoe manganese ores deposit development in Kemerovo Region, ore transfer via Khakassiya and works setup in Krasnoyarsk.

Details

Total area of Krasnoyarsk metallurgical facility production buildings is 159 k m2. The first stage of four furnaces is scheduled to be launched at the close of 2012. Design output capacity of ferroalloys is 250 Mtpa
